Lanka Lanka docs

ChatGPT

A ChatGPT chat reads your flows and edits their drafts through Lanka’s MCP server. You publish the changes yourself with “Publish”.

What you need

  • ChatGPT that lets you add your own MCP server under “Plugins”.
  • No key: you grant access in the chat on first connect.

How to connect

  1. In ChatGPT open “Plugins” in the sidebar, click “Add” and choose “Add custom MCP server”.

  2. Name the server anything, e.g. Lanka, and paste Lanka’s server address into the URL field:

    https://lanka.bot/mcp

  3. ChatGPT opens a Lanka page asking for access — the consent page: it shows what the chat will reach, and you confirm once. Sign in to your Lanka account if you are not signed in yet.

  4. In the chat write:

Connect to the Lanka session session-name

The chat button in the flow editor shows this name. ChatGPT calls the get_context tool and sees the open page: the bot, the flow, the selected step.

If your plan does not have it, the “Lanka” GPT will do — once it is in the GPT store, connecting it comes down to the same access request.

Then write in plain words: “add a Contacts button”, “make a booking flow”. The changes appear on the Lanka page as a draft — you review and publish them in Lanka.
